Why CVRT?

Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Testing leads to safer, more reliable vehicles. And now, it’s the law..

 The legislation

On the 30th of May, 2012, the President signed The Road Safety Authority (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness) Act 2012.

 For test centres and testers

We are responsible for authorising, supervising and managing Commercial Vehicle Test Centres’ performance, as well as the performance of the individual testers.

 What has changed?

The test itself has not changed, but now it’s managed centrally and efficiently.
