The RSA accessibility statement.
We strive to make our information, services, buildings, and website as accessible as possible and welcome people from every background and ability level. We support the employment and development of people with disabilities and promote diversity and inclusion throughout our organisation.
Our commitment is to make any reasonable accommodations for you in availing of our online, offline or in-person services. This is to give you the best opportunity to fulfil your goal, whether that's learning about road safety, sitting a driving test, applying for a licence or even qualifying as a professional driver.

Requests for specific content
If you wish to view specific content on our website in an accessible format, please include the following details and we will do our best to facilitate your request:
Our website accessibility
The RSA is committed to making its website accessible in line with European Union (Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies) Regulations 2020, however we acknowledge that some content is not fully compliant and we are working to address this gap.
Below is our Accessibility Statement which applies to content published on www.cvrt.ie only.
This statement was prepared on 04 June 2026. We will assess our pages against all relevant WCAG 2.1 AA Success Criteria using tools such as Axe monitoring, Manual testing, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Accessibility scanning tools.
The National Disability Authority (NDA) will carry out a review of www.cvrt.ie in 2026.
Each page on this site contains a text based menu providing easy access to all pages on this site.
Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the target (such as the headline of an article). Links are written to make sense out of context.
We strive to include descriptive ALT attributes for all content images in this site. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.
This site uses cascading style sheets (CSS) for visual layout. This means you may customise your Internet browser settings to view the site according to your own preferences. If your browser does not support style sheets the content of each page will still be readable.
If you wish to make a complaint about the accessibility of this website under the Disability Act 2005 (No. 14 of 2005), please complete our Complaints Form. You can find more information on the RSA complaint’s process in our Customer Charter.
If you are not happy with our response to your complaint, you can contact the Office of the Ombudsman and ask them to look into your complaint.
